I have 71 books in my room here at St. Paul’s. This does not include any of my schoolbooks, nor the few books I keep around as invaluable references (Smart Words by Mim Harrison and The Elements of Style by William Strunk, Jr. and E.B. White). I like to think of it as my own little library…

Chloe Lee ’16 – The moment when the Internet shuts down at midnight is never pleasant—one is faced with the decision either to stop working and go to bed, or to toil on using only the aid of mobile data, which can be slow and tedious.


On Robert Durst

Macrina Wang ’18 – Robert Durst and his unique circumstance first caught my attention when I saw the photo of him printed by the Associated Press. In this photograph, Durst is in a police car, heading to the Orleans Parish Prison after being charged with first-degree murder in Los Angeles. The unnerving fact is, in what many would perceive as a somber situation, Robert Durst is grinning in his handcuffs and orange jumpsuit.
